Privacy Notice

1. Identity of the Data Controller

The Ramelis platform is currently operated by its founding team, with formal incorporation underway. You can send your data protection requests and questions to info@ramelis.com. Once incorporation is complete, this section will be updated with the entity's registered name and address.

2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

• Creating and training the user's own AI persona ("Ramelis")
• Producing a "persona profile" from interview answers, IPIP personality test results, and chat history
• Enabling the user to converse with themselves (and with their versions at different ages)
• Managing the limited access of the user's chosen guardians to the persona, based on the user's prior explicit consent, once their passing and the defined conditions (see Terms of Use) have occurred
• Ensuring account security, and detecting and preventing misuse

3. Parties Personal Data May Be Transferred To

• Anthropic PBC (United States) — the AI (Claude) provider used to process chat/interview messages and the persona profile. This constitutes a cross-border data transfer.
• OpenAI, L.L.C. (United States) — the provider used to transcribe your recording (Whisper) when you use the voice chat feature. The audio file is sent solely for transcription and is not permanently stored by OpenAI. This is also a cross-border data transfer.
• Supabase Inc. — the database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure provider. Data is hosted on a server within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany — eu-central-1); no cross-border transfer is involved here.
• Vercel Inc. (United States) — the hosting infrastructure provider for the platform. This constitutes a cross-border data transfer.
• The guardians you designate — ONLY after your passing, once the conditions you specified have occurred, and within the scope of the explicit permission you gave while alive.

This data is not shared with, sold to, or used for advertising by any third party other than those listed above.

4. Method of Collection and Legal Basis

All data is collected electronically from information the user enters directly into the platform (interview answers, chat messages, IPIP test answers, and profile information such as date of birth). Processing is based on the user's explicit consent under KVKK Article 5/6 — separate, specific explicit consent is obtained particularly for data that may reveal personality or psychological traits (interview answers, the IPIP test).

5. Your Data Protection Rights (KVKK Article 11)

In line with internationally recognized data protection standards, and guaranteed under KVKK — the Turkish data protection law that governs this platform — you have the following rights, wherever in the world you're located:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed
• To request information about it if it has been processed
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
• To request correction of the data
• To request deletion of the data within the framework of KVKK and applicable legislation (this can be done directly from account settings)
• To object to a result that is to your detriment arising solely from automated analysis of the processed data
• To request compensation for damages suffered due to unlawful processing

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Keeping data through a context/memory-based architecture rather than fine-tuning makes it technically possible for you to fully delete your account and all your data at any time (from the Settings page). When you delete your account, your interview answers, chat history, persona profile, and all related records are permanently deleted.
